These local lovebirds met through a mutual friend while Geoff was on the baseball team at Rice and Caitlin was at business school at Texas Tech. It wasn’t long before Geoff was head over cleats for Caitlin, sparking a four-year long-distance relationship. Finally reunited in Houston, the couple set roots in Bellaire and took advantage of the brief but breathtaking Houston fall season to tie the knot at the River Oaks Garden Club Forum of Civics. A cozy gathering of friends and family, the intimate ceremony was reminiscent of an upscale garden party. An elegant yet whimsical symphony of jewel tones peppered the ceremony and venue, from the vibrant bridesmaid dresses to the multicolored floral arrangements, which were a chic pairing for Caitlin’s stunning long-sleeved lace dress. While the ceremony was heavy on the “garden,” the reception was not shy about bringing on the “party.” A giant Connect 4 and the cutest floral-painted cornhole set you’ll ever see brought out the kid in everyone at the reception.
